About Us
The District is a political subdivison of the State of Texas and is governed by an elected Board of Directors.
Currently the Directors are:
Samuel D. Griffin Jr.
Mr. Griffin is the Board President and an attorney who specializes in estate planning. His practice is located in Lufkin, Texas.
David Rusk
Mr. Rusk is retired from Abitibi Consolidated. He is an engineer and currently teaches engineering classes part-time at Angelina College in Lufkin. He is the Board Secretary.
Brian Ballard
Mr. Ballard is retired from TXU Energy and is an engineer. He lives in Henderson, Texas.
William (Bill) Elliott
Mr. Elliott is the President of Elliott Electrical Supply and lives in Nacogdoches.
Thomas Ellison
Mr. Ellison is President of the Commercial Bank of Texas in Nacogdoches. Mr. Ellison also resides in Nacogdoches.
The District Manager is David Mason.
Mr. Mason has been employed by the District since June 2001. Mr. Mason has worked since 1982 in the water industry. Prior to coming to Lake Striker Mr. Mason worked for Tarrant Regional Water District at their Cedar Creek Lake office.
